How SEODECK works

SEODECK does not ask for access to anything. It reads your public website exactly as Googlebot does, once a day, and compares what it finds with what it found yesterday.

1. Discover every page

The audit starts at robots.txt and sitemap.xml (sitemap indexes are expanded), then follows internal links found in the pages it has already fetched. A page that is reachable by link but missing from the sitemap is reported — that is how pages quietly stop being crawled. Crawls are capped by plan (50, 300 or 2,000 pages) and run at a polite five requests at a time.

2. Check what Google reads

3. Score and compare

Each run produces one score out of 100 and a grade from A to F. Critical issues cost the most, suggestions the least, and a home page that is down is an F regardless. The score history is kept forever on paid plans so you can see the day something changed.

4. Tell you, in plain language

If a run finds a new critical issue, a page that went down, a noindex that appeared or a canonical that changed, you get an email the same day. Every Monday you get a report with the score, what moved since last week, and the top issues each with its fix — written for a business owner, with a to-do list your web developer can act on.

What it does not do

SEODECK does not track keyword rankings, backlinks or competitors, and does not need your Google Search Console. It watches the one thing that is entirely under your control: whether your own site is in a state Google can rank. If you want rankings and traffic reviewed as well, LB Clouds offers that as a service.
